McLaren’s first upgrade came during the Miami Grand Prix. This upgrade has improved the car’s speed but also increased driver confidence allowing both Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri to extract more from the vehicle.
Post-upgrade, McLaren’s average grid position improved from 5.2 to 3.9, while their race finishing positions improved from 5.6 to 4.1.
